Round 1️⃣4️⃣ ✔ New ladder leaders ✔ Shock wins ✔ Clutch field goals ✔ Shining young guns
The Storm powered to their 11th win on the trot to move to the top of the Telstra Premiership ladder as the Panthers slumped to a second loss in a row in round 14.
With dynamic duo Harry Grant and Brandon Smith in superb form the Storm had too much class for the Warriors on an emotional afternoon at Central Coast Stadium. The absence of their Origin stars again hurt the Panthers as they succumbed to the resurgent Sharks and a Shaun Johnson field goal on Friday night.
A last-minute field goal was the order of the day on the Gold Coast as well, with Roosters young gun Sam Walker getting his team home 35-34 in a thriller against the Titans.
