A previously unseen photo of Queen Elizabeth II has been shared by the Royal Family ahead of her funeral today, 19 September 2022.
To mark the landmark day, the Royal Family has released a previously unseen photo of Her Majesty. The portrait – captured by photographer Ranald Mackechnie – was taken in May before the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations. Taken in Windsor Castle, the photo shows the late monarch beams dressed in all blue as she beams at the camera.
