In place of the racism, abuse and violent threats often directed at Meghan and Kate, the Royals want their social media followers to engage with kindness, courtesy and respect for all other users.
Some 3.87 million accounts follow the Royal family's Twitter feed and 1.69 million follow Kensington Palace, the official account for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Senior Royal reporters have lifted the lid on the extent of the abuse levelled at Meghan Markle over her mixed race background. Despite the overwhelming number of messages coming through social media being supportive, officials were reportedly spending hours each week addressing sexist and racist comments aimed at the duchesses.
A senior Royal reporter had been threatened with having acid thrown in her face over her work, the ABC was told last year.
