‘Break from tradition’: Kate’s ‘evolution’ will take royals ‘into the 21st century’Writer and broadcaster Esther Krakue says the Princess of Wales' evolution is a “break from tradition”. “Unlike the Queen who had many patronages and didn’t really specifically focus on one issue to champion, Princess Kate has made it very clear that there are few issues that are central to her role as a working royal and future Queen,” Ms Krakue told Sky News host Caroline Di Russo. “It’s really going to be interesting watching her evolution in that way. “It’s going to take the royals, really, into the 21st century with the rest of the public.”
