A man has been charged with multiple offences after three officers were injured during an arrest in inner Sydney yesterday.

Three police were injured during the chase, including one officer who suffered four fractured ribs, a fractured right wrist and a dislocated shoulder; one male constable sustaining deep wounds to his left knee and a male leading senior constable sustaining a left leg injury. The accused was taken to Mascot Police Station, before being taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital to be assessed. After being released from hospital he was charged with contravene prohibition/restriction in AVO , stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm , resist or hinder police officer in the execution of duty and prisoner escape from lawful custody.
