The star of the upcoming Kraven The Hunter movie drew attention from the first trailer for his overbearing character and another interesting accent for his repertoire. He’s set to follow the near-cliched trope of abusive father figures Marvel movies have made a cottage industry out of.

Crowe was of course Superman’s father in Man Of Steel, inspiring his son’s heroism. In Thor: Love & Thunder, Crowe played Zeus, father of sometimes Avenger Hercules. And in Kraven, he will play Nikolai Kravinoff father of Taylor-Johnson’s the infamous Spider-Man villain, here given an anti-hero makeover. Talk about strong genes.
