Russia’s foreign ministry has announced it is sanctioning an additional 121 Australian media bosses, defence officials and journalists

Russia’s foreign ministry has announced it is sanctioning an additional 121 Australian citizens, including journalists and defence officials.The list of individuals barred from entering Russia “indefinitely,” was compiled in response to the growing sanctions of the Australian government, the Russian foreign ministry says.

Atlassian co-founder Mike Cannon-Brookes will also be banned from entering Russia and well as Rio Tinto Iron Ore chief executive Simon Trott. Several Defence force figures are on the list, including Chief of the Defence Force Angus Campbell, department secretary Greg Moritary, as well as Navy chief, Rear Admiral Mark Hammond, RAAF’s Air Vice-Marshal Darren Goldie, ADF Vice Admiral David Johnston, Lieutenant General Greg Bilton as well as new South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas.
