Vaccine fatigue from the COVID-19 crisis

Vaccine trackers put the figure at closer to 51 per cent. “Early on in the epidemic, when we were talking about vaccines, there was hope the influenza vaccine would be built into COVID vaccine. “What we’re facing now is trying to push up protection through COVID vaccines and boosters, and trying to get people covered for flu. This is going to be a really, really big year, particularly for children who haven’t had exposure to flu until now.”
“There is an attitude out there that omicron isn’t very severe and people think they’ve had two doses, which is enough to protect them. They can’t be bothered to get it or don’t see why they need it,” he said.
