China, which has stood by Moscow even as Russia becomes increasingly isolated from the rest of the world, says its first batch of humanitarian assistance has arrived in
the western Ukrainian city of Chernivtsi. A second batch is expected to depart from Beijing on Saturday and arrive in Ukraine on Monday, the state-backed Global Times reported.
