Ukrainian president says Moscow wants a ‘new source of pain and suffering to undermine world unity
Russia has suffered 450 casualties in the last day, bringing the total number it has suffered since the start of the war to 283,080, according to the Ukrainian defence ministry.
In its daily update, the ministry said Russian forces had also lost six more tanks and three more armoured combat vehicles, bringing the total numbers of each lost to 4,829 and 9,129 respectively. The update was accompany by a quote from American women’s and civil rights campaigner Susan B. Anthony which read: “Independence is happiness.”
