The movie, which is slated for release on Netflix in 2020, focuses on a group of Broadway singers who—in a bid for goodwill—champion an Indiana high school senior’s right to take her girlfriend to the prom.
As if that camptastic plot weren’t enough, the film is set to star Kerry Washington alongside Meryl Streep and Nicole Kidman,Meryl Streep as a washed-up Tony winner championing LGBTQ+ rights?
