'Everything was normal... until we boarded the plane'
Passengers on board a Ryanair flight from Tenerife last weekend claimed people were left 'stranded' overnight in the airport after a 'technical fault' with the aircraft.

"Then they detailed there was a minor fault that they were working on. We were sat on the plane for about 15 minutes before they told us we would be taking off.
"We got outside and everybody was looking on booking.com. Fortunately there were six of us, and I was able to find a villa that we were able to book last minute. The following morning the saga continued, as passengers who had managed to find alternative accommodation arrived back at Tenerife airport, only to be told their next returning flight was also delayed.
The flight eventually left for Manchester Airport at around 2pm the following day, Sunday . Ryanair has since apologised for the disruption, that had been caused by a 'technical issue', meaning crew had also reached their permitted flying hours.
