Two members of the popular S Club 7 were promoted to be performing - but when fans turned up at the sold-out concert, only one member was there

Fans of noughties pop group S Club 7 were left furious after only one member turned up to sing at a sold-out concert. Originally two of the seven original members of the group, Tina Barrett, 46 and Bradley McIntosh, 41, were booked to perform at a 150 person capacity bar in the Isle of Wight.

Bosses at the venue, Wyld, in Newport, Isle of Wight, were forced to speak out about the mishap following backlash from angry fans on social media. They stated that the decision was made after contract obligations changed following the band's recent announcement that they would be embarking on a 25th anniversary tour.Following the performance, attendees shared the fury on Facebook and Twitter, calling out the band and the venue for 'letting them down'.

A Wyld spokesman told the Daily Star: "Sadly, this situation was out of our hands." It was recently announced that Tina and Bradley will be joined with fellow group members Jo, Paul, Rachel, Hannah and Jon on tour in October.
