SA Government backflips on borders, pushing back opening date for NSW and ACT
South Australian Premier Steven Marshall has announced that restrictions on travel from New South Wales and the ACT will no longer ease next week as planned because of the ongoing coronavirus threat.
He said the "super-spreader event" at the Crossroads Hotel at Casula, in western Sydney, had created too much uncertainty to allow unrestricted travel. Mr Marshall said it was unlikely a similar hard border would be imposed with New South Wales, meaning travellers from that state can continue to enter SA as long as they quarantine on arrival for 14 days.
