The SA Government refuses Opposition calls for a quicker return of Parliament after some MPs under ICAC investigation sought to claim parliamentary privilege over key documents and information.

The allowance provides payments of up to $234 a night for country MPs who stay overnight in Adelaide on official business.

He said that although he is continuing to seek evidence and information from others, the potential privilege claim has had the effect of delaying the investigation "If Steven Marshall is on the side of transparency, fairness and justice, he must instruct his Liberal MPs to comply with the ICAC request for documents and information," Mr Malinauskas said."Steven Marshall should recall the Parliament, establish that that is an unacceptable practice and to ensure that the ICAC Commissioner's investigation can go on unimpeded."State Parliament will return after the current ICAC has retired, next month, the government has confirmed.
