It appears as though SA Premier Steven Marshall 'has not set a bar' on when the state's borders may again close according to Sky News Political Editor aclennell.

It appears as though SA Premier Steven Marshall "has not set a bar" on when the state's borders may again close according to Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell. On Tuesday Mr Marshall confirmed the state's border to New South Wales would be opened on Thursday dependent on if there were no new community transmissions in NSW.

However, Mr Clennell said "it appears he has not set a bar on when the borders might close". Mr Clennell said one "would certainly hope" it's not the case the South Australian borders would again be closed if New South Wales had a couple of new coronavirus cases. "There's a view in New South Wales that's completely untenable to have that scenario where you open and shut borders based on daily case numbers," he said.
