Six COVID-related deaths have been reported in South Australia in the past 24 hours.
The number of active cases has fallen below 20,000There have been 1,505 positive cases recorded during the same period.There are still 25 people in intensive care and the number of people on ventilators has doubled to four.
"I've got to begin by sadly acknowledging the passing of six South Australians reported over the past 24 hours," Premier Steven Marshall said.Mr Marshall said 2,227 people have recovered from the virus in the past day, bringing the total number of active cases to fewer than 20,000 — a "massive fall of where we were two or three weeks ago".
