Former ABC boss Michelle Guthrie has been paid $730,000 by the broadcaster through a settlement of legal action, bringing her total payments since being sacked in September to $1.63 million.
Acting Managing Director David Anderson revealed to a Senate Estimates committee Ms Guthrie had been paid $730,000 to drop court action against the ABC.
The payment was made in addition to the $900,000 she received when she was sacked last September. Ms Guthrie was sacked halfway through her term as managing director, and filed a lawsuit against the ABC for wrongful dismissal. Image: News Corp Australia
