The location of Guido’s on 74 Coulstonholm Road has been trading as a fish and chips shop for over 100 years according to the real estate listing on Smith & Clough. The owner of Guido’s Fish and Chips told The Glasgow Times: “Unfortunately, due to the high rise of bills and high rent we weren’t able to keep up with our costs.
“And we couldn’t ask people for more money regarding the prices so we decided to just give it up, as it wasn’t busy enough.“It’s not been the best past two years.”“There’s not much to say, just a massive thanks to our customers and appreciate the support they have given to us.”
