Shoppers have expressed their sadness as a popular Nottingham sustainability store has announced its closure. Shop Zero revealed its last day of trade on Friar Lane, saying "it's time to move on".
"I’m super sad to leave the current shop. And I was hoping there would a new, fab new place to tell you all about but, for now, the search continues. Thankfully, this isn’t the end." "We’ve developed such a strong, inclusive and proactive community and I know that will continue. I have loved the opportunity to work with & showcase so many fellow sustainable businesses .
The reason for the closure has not been revealed, but shoppers were quick to express their sadness and well-wishes following the announcement. User mycarboncoach said: "So sorry that you’re having to leave Friar Lane Sarah. You’ve been a huge inspo to me on my little eco shop journey. I hope the next chapter isn’t too long in the making.
