St Kilda gun forward Max King has locked in his long-term future at the club by signing a new eight-year deal until 2032.
It puts King alongside GWS’ Sam Taylor, Western Bulldogs’ Aaron Naughton and Port Adelaide’s Connor Rozee in having the longest deals in the AFL.King booted a career-best 52 goals in 2022 before injuries have hampered the key forward since Ross Lyon returned to the helm at Moorabbin in 2023 — limited to a combined 23 games over the last two years.
“The playing group, particularly as a few of us have gotten older, you look around and think that this is our chance. We don’t want to waste years or a single opportunity to take this club forward.
