The race was stopped just seconds after the start after Chinese driver Zhou Guanyu’s Alfa Romeo flipped over and careered over safety barriers at Silverstone. Alfa Romeo sporting director Beat Zehnder told broadcaster Sky Sport that Zhou was speaking and was being transported to the medical centre at Silverstone.
