, this film reunites the dynamic duo of Vicky Kaushal and Meghna Gulzar, who previously collaborated on the critically acclaimed 2018 film Raazi.Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw holds a significant place in Indian military history. He was the first Indian Army officer to achieve the prestigious rank of Field Marshal. As the Chief of Army Staff, he became a primary figure during India’s resounding victory over Pakistan in the 1971 war, a victory that led to the creation of Bangladesh.
The cast of Sam Bahadur is nothing short of stellar. With Sanya Malhotra portraying Siloo, Manekshaw’s wife, Fatima Sana Shaikh takes on the role of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Neeraj Kabi and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub also make appearances in the film, playing Jawaharlal Nehru and Yahya Khan, respectively.
