Having left Sydney for Melbourne to be with fiancee Jordie Hansen, Home And Away star Sam Frost left something behind in the Harbour City she didn’t bargain for. See what it is 👉
Frost had paid $1.255 million to be near Sydney Park, one of Sydney’s best park playgrounds. Located opposite the Goodman industrial estate, it initially sold for $570,000 when bought from the Cambodian-born developer, Suon Ngu in 2008.Frost secured tenants at $1275 a week for the 2002-built townhouse, finding her tenant within four weeks, and a reduction from $1375, amid spiralling rental headlines.
It had been leased once before, back in 2013 at $900 a week by its initial owner, so 42 per cent rental growth over close to a decade. There have been falling rents evident next door in the Stanisic Architects-designed Datum apartment complex where $500 a week was being sought in May for a one-bedroom apartment that had hit the market in January seeking $550.The asking rental pre-Covid in January 2020 had been $530. Back in 2017 the asking rental peaked at $620.
