Sam Hunt was arrested on charges of driving under the influence in Nashville

According to Davidson County’s Criminal Court Clerk records, Hunt was arrested and booked on Nov. 21 and charged with a misdemeanor for an open container as well as DUI charges. He is due to appear in court on Jan. 17, 2020. He was released from jail at 9 a.m. on a $2,500 bond.. The news site claimed that the 34-year-old singer was pulled over after his vehicle was spotted “going the wrong way” and reportedly “swerving in and out of his lane” when a traffic stop was initiated.
