Sam Kerr is the first woman to grace the cover of the primary version of the world's most popular football video game.
Australian football superstar Sam Kerr has been revealed as one of the cover athletes for the latest iteration of EA Sports' FIFA franchise.
The sport's premier video game comes out with a new release every year, and FIFA 23 will feature Kerr alongside Paris St Germain striker Kylian Mbappé.The franchise has featured a women's player on special edition and local covers in the past, , but Kerr's appearance marks the first time a woman has been included on the primary cover for the game.
