The striker has now netted 18 goals in 20 league games, three shy of her Golden Boot-winning season last year, and six goals better than second-placed Arsenal striker Vivianne Miedema. Kerr headed home in the 71st minute to put Chelsea ahead after Guro Reiten sensationally equalised just before the half-hour, while Canadian Olympian Jessie Fleming struck in stoppage time to give Chelsea all three points.After Bethany England's opener was cancelled out by an improbable Kerys Harrop equaliser, which was assisted by Simon, Kerr popped up minutes later to head home what turned out to be the winner.
Chelsea have just two games left to play to snap up their second consecutive league title, taking on bottom-placed Birmingham before closing out the season against Manchester United.
