He and Ms Murphy had been married for 26 years, with their 27th anniversary falling just two weeks after she was allegedly murdered by 22-year-old Patrick Stephenson. The phone was inside a wallet case, reportedly with Ms Murphy's credit cards and licence tucked into the adjacent side.
