A league spokesperson said XFL policy is to not comment on personnel matters but added that Sheehan’s removal was the only change of its type around the league.Per the league’s release announcing his hire Dec. 20, Sheehan’s role was to “oversee the team’s business performance and activations to elevate awareness, drive fan and community engagement, and execute gameday experiences based on the League’s strategic plans.
