San Diego police investigate stabbing in East Village [Breaking]
San Diego police were investigating a stabbing in East Village that left a man hospitalized Sunday afternoon.
The attack was reported about 3:25 p.m. at the intersection of Park Boulevard and Market Street. The victim, who was reportedly “bleeding pretty bad,” was taken to a hospital, said police Sgt. Kevin Gibson. The assailant was described as a Latino man, about 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a ponytail. He was wearing a baseball cap, dark blue T shirt, dark-colored shorts and Converse Chuck Taylor All Star shoes, Gibson said.
