A misty May Gray near the coast, with cooler conditions around the county. Gusty winds will impact the mountains and deserts.
Today was the last day of monsoon moisture for a while, we are heading into a cooler pattern with gray skies to wrap up the month of May.
A trough of low pressure will provide winds out of the west this week, along with cooler, and drier conditions. The marine layer will deepen, with misty gloomy skies along the coast, and gusty westerly winds for the mountains and deserts. Gusty winds will target the eastern part of the county from Tuesday through Saturday, winds will range from 20 to 55mph.
Thursday and Friday will be the coolest days of the week with temperatures about 5 to 10 degrees below average. Temperatures be very similar all week into Memorial Day.
