Officers responding to an assault call found a man unconscious on the ground, according to police.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and has since been identified as Antrell Larry Stanifer, 56, of San Francisco.
At 9:03 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to a ShotSpotter gunshot detection system activation in the area of Fulton and Webster streets, in the Fillmore district, and found a 37-year-old man with gunshot wounds, police said. He was taken to a hospital and died there. He has been identified as San Francisco resident Francois Torrey.
No arrest or suspect details have been announced in either case. Anyone with information about either homicide is asked to call the SFPD tip line at 575-4444 or to send a tip by text message to TIP411 with “SFPD” at the start of the message.
