A 32-year-old man now faces a murder charge in the March 27 attack in front of school.
SAN JOSE — An 81-year-old man has been identified as the man who died over the weekend from injuries he suffered in an assault that occurred nearly two weeks earlier in a residential neighborhood in South San Jose, authorities said.
The attack was reported at 8:11 p.m. March 27 near Avenida Grande and Via Romera, in front of Los Paseos Elementary school, police said. Responding officers found Dournaee with severe head injuries, and he was rushed to the hospital.
