A San Jose man died early Sunday morning when his car slammed into a truck that had rolled over minutes earlier on Highway 101.
The 63-year-old man was killed at about 4:20 a.m. when his silver 2009 Toyota Camry barreled into a 1999 red GMC Sierra truck that sat wrecked in the northbound lanes of Highway 101, south of Story Road, according to Alicia Moreno, a California Highway Patrol spokeswoman.Just a few minutes earlier, the driver of the GMC appeared to lose control of the truck, causing it to roll over on highway, Moreno said.
The driver of the truck was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter, Moreno said.
