FRESNO –– San Jose State’s hot streak came to an end Saturday night at Valley Children’s Stadium as the Spartans fell 17-10 to Fresno State.

The Spartans, who had outscored opponents 107-29 in their past three games, struggled on offense against the Bulldogs. SJSU went 3 for 14 on third-down plays and only produced 37 rushing yards. With 52 seconds left before halftime, Junior Fehoko caused and returned a fumble that eventually set up a 32-yard touchdown pass from Cordeiro to Elijah Cooks to give SJSU the 10-7 lead heading into halftime.Fresno State reclaimed the lead on Fife’s pass with 1:09 left in the third quarter.
