A San Antonio police officer responding to a call for a cutting at an East Side home ended up shooting and killing a 51-year-old woman who was armed with a knife, SAPD confirmed.
Police were called to a home in the 400 block of Delmar at about 5:45 Saturday evening after a man called to report an assault by a woman who was armed with a knife.
The men told officers she was agitated and aggressive and they suspected she was under the influence of drugs.The men were able to disarm her and forced her out of the back door. That’s when she pulled out a locked knife and started stabbing at the door, police said.
