Saquon Barkley’s sprained ankle is showing signs of improvement, and Giants coach Brian Daboll refused to rule him out for Thursday's game.
"He's a lot better than I thought he would be today," Daboll said Tuesday in a Zoom call from Tempe, Arizona, where the Giants are staying to prepare for Thursday night's game in Santa Clara, California, against the 49ers .The Giants held a walkthrough workout on Monday and were scheduled to have another on Tuesday in what Daboll said is basically a few days of mental preparation for the game.
