New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley sprained his ankle in the Week 2 win vs. the Arizona Cardinals.
The Giants were expected to hit during practice.
“We’re going to let him run around and see how he does,” head coach Brian Daboll said. “Making progress. I think this is a good evaluation today in pads to see where he is at.” The Giants only ran the ball 11 times – their lowest single-game total since 1989 – last week against the 49ers while Barkley was sidelined.Getty Images
