The former Duchess of York also arranged a third meeting at the same premises, but the visit did not go ahead after her travel plans changed at the last minute.

Records show she first contacted Epstein on April 4, 2009, asking to stop by for “a quick cup of tea” while travelling through Florida. Epstein responded by giving her the address of his office and said it was “10 minutes from airport”. Sarah Ferguson and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor have been exiled from the royal fold over their ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

She had previously told Epstein she wanted time for “a brainstorming of your genius ideas”. Despite the missed appointment, she later called Epstein from the UK and eventually visited him again on May 13, 2009. Epstein’s assistant had scheduled meetings around the visit, including other commitments at the office.
A visitor log covering the period was later destroyed by authorities under retention rules, according to a 2021 investigation. The office itself was central to Epstein’s work release arrangement after his 2008 conviction for procuring a minor for prostitution. Epstein victims have since alleged abuse occurred at the same premises during this period, including claims raised in evidence to Congress. Ferguson’s association with Epstein later resurfaced after further emails emerged suggesting she maintained contact following his release from jail.
Epstein himself later referred to Ferguson’s conduct in correspondence with an associate, describing what he called “the absurdity of Fergie’s statements”. He also claimed: “There were law enforcement people in my office when I was on work release that let her in. ” A spokesperson for Ferguson has previously said she ended contact with Epstein once the scale of allegations against him became known.
“As soon as she was aware of the extent of the allegations against him, she not only cut off contact but condemned him publicly, to the extent that he then threatened to sue her for defamation for associating him with paedophilia. ” Separately, correspondence also shows political figure Lord Peter Mandelson contacted Epstein at the same office during his stay in New York.
He reportedly spoke with Epstein by phone and later held a video call while Epstein was using the Florida base. Mandelson has previously said he “never saw any evidence of criminal activity” during their contact.
