The development application attracted 15 public submissions, only three of which were in support of the plans. Another submitted: “There has been no consideration from the council or the developer in the effect this will have on street parking, it will add enormous pressure on an area that is already short of street parking in a cul-de-sac that has eight houses with no off-street parking.”“The developer should add a minimum of 10 extra off-street car parks,” that objector wrote.
