Yesterday marked the end of one of the biggest perks of Google's first three phones.
For the first three of its phones, Google had once offered a special perk that set it apart from every other competitor on the market: unlimited media storage at original quality. That is, until today.
The Pixel, Pixel 2, and Pixel 3 devices all originally allowed users to back up an unlimited amount of photos, as well as 4K video, without compressing or formatting them in any way to cut down on the used space. Users would be able to access any of these photos at any point in time, without having to uncompress them first.'s business.
