School pals of tragic teen Hamdan Aslam leave heartbreaking tributes following shock death
The death of a teenage boy has sent shockwaves through his school as pals gathered to pay tribute to him.
Staff at the school are understood to have performed CPR at the scene, but Hamdan could not be saved. A heavy police presence remained at the school today as the investigation into Hamdan's death continues. A post-mortem was due to be carried out this afternoon to establish the exact cause of his death.Top news stories today Zain Mohammed, 29, said: “Hamdan was gentle and wouldn’t hurt a fly. At least 7 injured after shooting outside high school graduation ceremony in VirginiaAuthorities in Richmond, Virginia, say seven people were shot following a high school graduation ceremony held at a downtown theater near Virginia Commonwealth University. Interim Police Chief Rick Edwards said at a news conference that two suspects were taken into custody after Tuesday’s shooting. Edwards said officers inside the theater heard the gunfire and radioed to colleagues outside, who found multiple victims. Four had injuries that were not life-threatening.
