A series of chilling journal entries, text messages, web searches, and voice belonging to Oxford High School mass shooter
In another, Crumbley drew a picture of a gun held to the back of a female’s head with the words, “The first victim has to be a pretty girl with a future so she can suffer just like me.” Text messages Crumbley sent in the months leading up to shooting, which were also shown in court, revealed his twisted fantasies included violence against children, rape, mutilation, and murder.
Both journal entries and texts also detailed how he had urges to torture and kill birds by putting “a drill in its stomach and skull,” chopping it in half, and snapping its break off. “There have been no baby birds to torture in for a long time and I’m getting that feeling were I need to kill again,” he texted.
