The boy was taken to hospital as the driver fled the scene
Merseyside Police were called to New Chester Road in Rock Ferry, Wirral, at around 6.50pm on Monday, September 18, following reports of a crash. Once officers got to the scene, they found a car had crashed into the 13-year-old schoolboy on a bike.
The boy was left unconscious in the road following the crash, where the driver of the vehicle didn't stop at the scene.
