A schoolboy has had his bleeding tumour removed after fearing he was 'going to die'.

Pictures shared with the Glasgow Times show the schoolboy soaked in his own blood as it would erupt from the mass several times a day. “He is home recovering but is feeling very sick and sore. Hopefully it won’t come back but we aren’t sure.”John, who has autism, developed a small red lump out of the blue in July above his right ear.

She said:"We were put on a 12-week waiting list but with the amount of blood he was losing we just couldn’t wait that long.
