Mick Schumacher has opened up about the benefits of the Mercedes third seat, despite it not being the desired next phase of his F1 career.After two difficult seasons at Haas, Schumacher has had to step away from a racing seat in F1, at least for the time being. The young German is, however, choosing to see the positives of his move to Mercedes, where he will back up Lewis Hamilton and George Russell in a reserve role.
Even though he won’t be racing, Schumacher has confirmed that he’ll be keeping the same approach to F1 weekends to remain sharp. He confirmed this method to selected media, including FormulaNerds, following theSchumacher also reflected on last season, upon which he is hoping to learn from and draw experience.
Already unable to operate at the cost cap level, the American team struggled with expensive accidents brought on by driver error.
