The 'angry' former manager of F1 champion Michael Schumacher has hit out at the 'lies' told by the stricken star's family.

His wife and family have been fiercely protective of the icon's privacy as he recovers at home in Switzerland.

"I called the next day and no one answered. I didn't expect behaviour like that and I'm still angry about it. They kept me out, telling me it's too early, well now it's too late. It's been nine years. Maybe they should just say it the way it is. The son of Ferrari founder Enzo Ferrari and vice-chairman of the famous car manufacturer, Piero Ferrari, gave an insight into Schumacher's predicament at recent awards ceremony.
