Pittsburgh had runners on second and third with one out, but Wheeler escaped further trouble.The PNC Park grounds crew had major trouble getting the infield covered during the delay.
The 26-year-old Song was taken by the Phillies from Boston in the winter meeting draft in December with hopes he would play after military service.
