A new study has revealed the five 'best walking tours' in Scotland, and topping the list is an interactive Harry Potter experience in Edinburgh that is sure to delight Potterheads.
With families all across Scotland and beyond looking for fun ways to make the most of the summer holidays, there is nothing quite like a walking tour. Combining fresh air and exercise with fascinating stories and stunning beauty spots, they are the perfect way to spend a sunny day out.
One recent Tripadvisor review reads: "It was a lovely walk and Kieran was really informative and great fun for Harry Potter fans." Meanwhile, in third place is the Glasgow City Centre Daily Walking Tour. Costing £12, this tour takes walkers around all of the top sites in Scotland's biggest city, providing an excellent opportunity for locals and tourists alike to learn more about its history and culture.
Elsewhere, rounding out the top five walking tours in Scotland according to Millets are the Edinburgh Castle: Guided Walking Tour with Entry Ticket and Edinburgh Darkside Walking Tour: Mysteries, Murder and Legends. Both receiving scores of 6.12 out of 10, 96 per cent of reviews would recommend the former while 95 per cent would the latter.
