Midlothian Snowsports Centre is set to unveil its latest attraction, the Alpine Coaster. Visitors are now able to book tickets for the thrilling outdoor ride this weekend.
Thrillseeking families in Glasgow will soon have an exhilarating new attraction to enjoy – an Alpine coaster that sees people hurtling down through the Pentland Hills at nearly 30 mph.
Visitors can book now if they fancy trying it out, with ticket prices costing £7 for a single ride or £19 for a bundle of three rides. Alpine coasters, popular in Europe’s mountainous regions, offer riders an exciting experience as they descend in toboggan-like carts along a winding track, combining high-speed thrills with scenic views. They are commonly found at ski resorts to provide a year-round attraction.
